In wake of the devastating impact of Hurricane Sandy, Dave Matthews Band has pledged $1 million to regional recovery efforts. The group is turning its November 30th winter tour opener – the first of two nights at IZOD Center – into a benefit concert. The Live Nation presented event will feature special guest Jimmy Cliff.
All proceeds from the November 30 show, including ticket sales and merchandise, will go to the Bama Works Sandy Relief Fund. Proceeds from tickets that were purchased prior to the announcement of the benefit will also be donated to the Fund.
